Something For the Weekend

To coincide with Saturdays (Feb 20th) event at Ruby lounge we have put together a download mixtape featuring some of the bands who will be playing on the night. This is our first mixtape and we will be making one for each of our nights going forward. All of the tracks are free and it gives you a chance to get into some of the tunes you will be hearing live on Saturday night. Also; don't forget to have a look around the featured bands myspace pages that are all reachable through the links section on this page. Finally if there are any bands out there who want RAC to hear your tunes send them to us via the RAC soundcloud in the top right hand corner of this page.

Danny Mahon - Pre Order Debut Release From Piccadilly Records Now

Danny Mahon's long awaited debut release is finally here; the double A side "AK47" / "Beat Me Up" that is now available on limited edition heavyweight 7" Vinyl via Manchester's brand new label, RAC Records.

To mark the occasion RAC Records have pulled no punches by hand numbering each sleeve and throwing in a download code so you can retrieve the lead tracks and a bonus track for the MP3 player.

An array of local musicians also contributed to the recordings and enabled Danny to commit a full band sound to record for the first time; they include Rick Lees (Twisted Wheel), Ben Taylor (Vagner Love), Johnny Winbolt - Lewis (Keith) and Tom Peek (Kid British).
